Description:
Manages the resident care program in accordance with professional and the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care standards.Carries out nursing interventions within her or his level of competence and takes responsibility for the consequences of decisions and actions taken.Monitors nursing practice and resident outcomes based on policies and procedures, professional and regulatory standards, safety guidelines and best practices and applies analytical decision-making approach to address any negative outcomes or substandard practice. Maintains own competency through reflective practice, ongoing learning, and professional development.
Requirements:
Current registration with CNO; leadership, customer service and quality improvement skills.Offers of employment are subject to criminal record checks, and vulnerable persons screening.
