Description:
Under the direction of the Food Service Supervisor, prepares and serves attractive and nutritious meals and snacks, and ensures that food production, cleanliness of the kitchen and equipment is in accordance with departmental policy & procedures and ministry regulations. Ensures all nutritional and special diet requirements are met in providing meals and snacks.
Requirements:
A certificate in food preparation from an accredited school is required. Minimum of 1 year experience in volume food preparation at a Cook II or Cook I level in a hotel/restaurant or institutional setting. Safe food handlers certificate required.
