Description:
Under the direction of the administrator directs supervision of food preperation and service to residents in accordance with the prinicipal functions of dietary services in long term care and specific Ministry of Health regulations. Reviews and implements Ministry of Health program standards for dietary to ensure compliance. Manages resources efficiently and effectively to provide quality food production to the residents. Develops staff to ensure performance expectations are met conisitent with regulatory and professional standards.
Requirements:
Graduate of a 2 year approved program in Food Service Supervision from Community College, or the correspondence Food Service Supervision Course through Canadian Hospital Association or equivalent. Must also hold current membership in Canadian Society of Nutrition Management.
