Description:
Under the direction of the Food Services Supervisors, responsible for the preparation of attractive and nutritional meals for residents and staff. Ensures adequately trained staff and the cleanliness of the kitchen and equipment in accordance with specific standards and regulations.
Requirements:
Successful completion of Cook’s papers (Red Seal) is required. Must be able to read and write English fluently. Preference will be given to individuals with food preparation experience in a long term care/retirement home setting. Demonstrated customer service skills required.
